Reviews - What do our customers think?
TAKE HEED  Nov 27, 2009
Watching in dismay as Christian homeschool families, one after the other fell apart, strayed far, far from the faith and home, our family wondered what in the world was going on. We had the idea that what we saw on the outside, was clearly not what was going on inside. Not inside the home and certainly not inside the heart of the individuals in these families.
Jumping Ship opened that up, made it clear to us, that we were not imagining things. We applied the truth of the book with the reality of the results around us, and found them to be accurate. Better yet, we were able to take a good, deep look at what we were guilty of in our own home, and admit fault, failure and forge ahead with a new view in sight.
This book is VERY useful. An excellent gift to ANY family that claims Christ.

Great Book a Must Read for every Parent!  Oct 25, 2008
This book is a MUST have even if you do not like the writers. Very well laid out. We received this book through our pastor and it has been such a HUGE blessing! We are going to read it again shortly. I just can not say enough. Get this book and read it before it is too late!

Every parent should read this book  Jun 17, 2008
All I can say is that if every Christian parent (homeschooling or not) read this book and applied even half of it, the 75% of children who were raised in strong homes and in the church who leave their faith once they leave home would be slowed to a CRAWL. My husband and I have children of various ages, and things in our home began to change nearly overnight, and continued with daily changes that we could hardly have imagined. (our leaning-toward-rebellion teen suddenly folded my laundry, and cleaned the kitchen completely on her own, just being nice! Her heart is changing too, she talks to us differently, shares things she has clammed up for months...) Parenting became a joy again, and we could not believe how blind we had been. Furthermore, applying what they suggest is even FUN and may bring joy and enthusiasm back into your life that you forgot you had lost~ long ago. It is a VERY short book and quick read, convicting, but also gives so much hope. I pray this book does even half as much for you as it did for us, and even with that, you would see a miracle. (P.S. you may want to buy many copies because you will want to share it with everyone you know! It's that amazing.)

Hope for the teen years  Apr 16, 2008
I already have a copy of this book. It is a breath of fresh air for parents who are wondering if they are doing everything "right" concerning their teens. Directed towards homeschooling families, the author shows the difference between religion (which your kids will run screaming away from) and true Christianity. Convicting at times, but filled with helpful truths and ideas. Even if you're not homeschooling, but are concerned about today's youth, this book is excellent. May I ask, is your Christianity something that would inspire a 16-year-old?
